I'm Inês Costa!
I'm a Digital Designer from Portugal, specialized in Web Design and UX/UI Design. I'm passionate about developing design solutions that make the digital world simpler and more intuitive, one click at a time.
As someone who travels often, I've had the opportunity to experience different cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. This has shaped my ability to approach design with a human-centered and empathetic mindset.
BACKGROUND
At the end of 2024, I completed my Master's degree in Digital Design, with my thesis focusing on Web Design. During that year, I worked as a research fellow at the Research Institute for Design, Media and Culture (ID+), which provided me the opportunity to publish a scientific paper and present it at the 'Design Commit: 1st International Conference on Design & Industry.' Additionally, I participated in a Blended Intensive Program organized by Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, centered on the theme 'Smart Inclusion & Value Sensitive Design'.
I did my Bachelor's degree in New Communication Technologies at University of Aveiro. During this time, I participated in an Erasmus program in Zagreb, Croatia, at Algebra University, studying Design & Communications Management. This experience was a turning point in my academic journey, as it sparked my interest in the field of digital design.
PERSONAL LEVEL
Growing up, I was always captivated by art in all its forms. I studied piano for nine years at the Conservatório de Música Calouste Gulbenkian in Braga, an experience that taught me discipline, time management, and how to handle pressure from a young age. In addition, I took private painting lessons for two years, allowing me to explore my creativity through visual expression.
I also did theater for six years at the Tin.Bra Academy, which played a key role in shaping my confidence and public speaking skills. More than that, it helped me connect with people on a deeper level, making me more empathetic, versatile and adaptable to different environments and personalities.

When I'm not at my desk, you'll probably find me at the gym or at a park (any park really). I like to stay active, whether it's working out, hiking, or simply enjoying the peace of nature. These activities help me recharge and stay focused. I also enjoy reading, watching series, and keeping up with the world of cinema. My current obsession has been watching all the Oscar-nominated films.
